Ballet
All pupils attending ballet classes are expected to wear the uniform appropriate for their class. Please note that the following are also the required uniforms for pupils taking their Royal Academy of Dance exams.
Please note that for reasons of safety, no jewellery may be worn in class.
Hair: All girls must have their hair tied up neatly in a ballet bun. Pre-schoolers may have their hair tied neatly off their faces in pleats, bunches or a ponytail.
Girls:
NB: In line with RAD policy, all pupils may choose to wear socks, tights and shoes to match their skin tone.
Pre-School Ballet, Tap & Modern:
Pale pink tutu, ballet socks, full soled leather ballet shoes.
Pre-Primary & Primary:
Lilac (Freed Chloe style) short-sleeved cotton lycra leotard, RAD lilac georgette wrap-over skirt, ballet socks or ballet tights and full-soled leather ballet shoes.
Grade 1:
Lavender (Freed Iris style) sleeveless microfibre leotard with matching waist elastic, ballet socks or ballet tights and full-soled leather ballet shoes.

Boys:
Pre-School, Pre-Primary and Up:
Navy shorts, white neatly fitted T-shirt, white socks and black leather ballet shoes.
Grades 1 & 2:
Navy shorts, white neatly fitted T-shirt or vest or short-sleeved leotard, white socks and black leather ballet shoes, and black Oxford lace up character shoes.
Grades 3 – 8:
Navy cotton lycra stirrup tights or leggings. Short sleeved or sleeveless white leotard or closely fitting T-shirt or vest. Black leather ballet shoes and short white socks. Black Oxford, lace-up character shoes.
