Modern Jazz is a highly energetic dance style that incorporates travelling steps, high kicks, leaps and turns – all requiring strength and flexibility. This form of dance combines modern dance and jazz and is frequently seen on the West End stage.
Pupils are trained to become disciplined and versatile dancers.
Children will have the opportunity to take in-house exams and progress through the ISTD grades. Our Modern Jazz classes are taught by a fully qualified ISTD teacher.
Performance Opportunities
Every alternate year all Tap and Modern pupils perform alongside the entire CentreStage MK family in our whole school summer show at The Venue MK.
